Camp Wyandot is located on over 100 acres of prime nature. Expect hilly terrain and rustic facilities! Be prepared to walk to the cabin and carry whatever you bring with you to camp. Our facilities are considered rustic, which is a step above primitive and below modern. Although a few cabins have electricity and plumbing, camper cabins do not. Bathroom and shower facilities are within walking distance of all cabins.

Camp is located in a valley running North to South divided by Lake Atagahi. On the West side of the lake is Cabin Row and our health center. On the East side are our Advanced Units and the Dining Hall.

Cabin Row

Cabin Row is made up of 12 rustic cabins along the banks of Lake Atagahi. Most overlook the lake, are open-windowed with screens and have 8 beds. There are two sets of bunks in each cabin and four additional beds. Campers have access to our Egypt bathhouse.

Advanced Units

Advanced Units are arranged village style, with a central fire pit. Shawnee, Seneca and Sioux Units are our cabin-tents, or “Tebins,” each sleeping up to 6 people. Sturdy roofs and floors keep you protected from the elements, and tent flaps in place of screens and doors add an authentic feel.  Though these cabins do not have electricity or plumbing, they share a community shelter with electricity and have two nearby bathhouses.

Dining Hall

Our dining hall is a beautifully spacious log cabin with a modern kitchen, maintaining all state and local codes. It is the beloved hub of summer camp, and could be the exciting venue for your conference or event.

Grounds

Camp is an explorer’s paradise! Cliffs, caverns, creeks, nooks and crannies lay waiting to be explored. A plentiful lake and wide-open field accommodate all of your favorite activities.

Bath houses

We have three separate bathhouses. Egypt serves Cabin Row, and Khru serves the Dining Hall and Shawnee. Alps serves the remaining units on the advanced hill.

Swimming Pool

Campers have access to our 9ft deep crystal clear outdoor swimming pool to swim, float, or lay back with a good book.
