Wyandot Explorers: Crafts & Caroling 2018
December 3, 2018This is Exciting!!!
December 3, 2018We are pleased to say our tally of the luncheon shows $30,848 in donations, both from people who attended and those who gave to the luncheon but did not attend, $3,712 for the silent auction, and $676 for the camp store, for a total of $35,236. This is the highest income for the luncheon since 2009 when we took in $34,550. At this point, it seems we will clear over $30,000 after all of our expenses are recorded. This is a very good result!
Our attendance was 139, five more than last year. We had very conscientious help for the registration, greeters at the door, passing out the favors and taking the credit card sales. Lisa Graham once again managed both the memorabilia and silent auction very well, along with her family and seasoned volunteers. Sara Schaefer and Connie Coutellier do a lot of behind the scenes prep work and organization and Connie put many hours into the main program. We thank our game show contestants Carolyn Barton, Marie Trudeau, Nancy Wardwell and Jacob Barker and our host, Jack Miller for their participation and enthusiasm. The audience response proved they did a great job.
One of the best things about this year is the younger alumni, those in their 30s and 40s, have stepped up in a way they have not before, and not just for the luncheon. Young alumni will be taking leadership roles in the future and that is very good for Camp Wyandot!
Thank you all for your participation and support.
