We generally have camp registration open by the winter holidays, but we are still working hard behind the scenes to crunch the numbers and minimize disruptions to parents.

Camp Wyandot was one of the few Ohio camps that was able to open and operate an in-person, overnight camp experience. Due to the health regulations, we were required to operate at half capacity and with a lot more work to sanitize, disinfect, and alter our procedures to keep cabin groups isolated. This resulted in a year of lower revenues and increased expenses. We are uncertain what regulations and health considerations will be in place by summer 2021. We are strategizing to set prices fairly, but in a way that does not jeopardize our financial future.

We appreciate your patience as we give due consideration to our registration prices and refund policies for 2021. Under the guidance of the American Camp Association, which is our accrediting organization, we are delaying the opening of registration this year to further consider all factors and observe the impact of early vaccination efforts.

We will send an email announcement when registration opens. We look forward to a summer full of fun and friendship!
