Louise Swartz, a Camp Fire mom before she became a Unicef volunteer. We will never forget what out leaders, counselors and volunteers have done for us and for Camp Wyandot. See obituary here.
Bette Jenks, became a Camp Fire Girl in the early 30’s and remained an ardent supporter of this youth serving agency throughout her life. Spanning two generations as a leader for both of her daughters’ Camp Fire groups, she also managed many candy sales for the Columbus Council and served several terms on the Board of Directors. Bette received both the Luther Halsey Gulick and the Ernest Thompson Seton Awards, national recognitions for her dedication to Camp Fire and the camping program. Full obituary.
William Houston, husband of former Camp Fire employee, Terri Maloney-Houston. Terri was our office manager and to this day helps with our counselor & CIT mugs every summer. William’s obituary can be found here.
