You Shop They Donate Money on Your Behalf

If you have a Kroger reward account or you shop online with Amazon, both companies will donate money to a charity of your choice.
Kroger
Kroger splits up a pot of one million dollars each quarter based on how much people spend when they shop and which charity they have selected. Affiliated stores like Fred Meyers, QFC, Dillon’s, Smith’s and others spending counts towards the total too. They cap each charity at $8,000.00 per quarter. You still keep your fuel rewards and other perks.
If you have not already picked a charity, please go to Kroger.com or Fredmeyer.com and log into your account. As a resident of the Seattle area, I temporarily changed my preferred store Zip Code to 43230 so it would show me Ohio charities. Then open the drop-down window under your name in the top right corner, select your account and open the Community Reward page. Type in “Camp Wyandot” or use the code “HL408”. In 7 to 10 days, you should see the following message on the bottom of your receipts: “Thank you for participating in the community rewards. You requested a donate to Camp Wyandot.”
I have asked 10 other friends and relatives to sign up and most have said they will.
FYI, I did have to call tech support, as somehow I had two accounts and they had to fix that before I could join Community Rewards, but with $32,000.00 at stake per year it was worth the few minutes that it took. I have been told that once a year we are to log in and confirm our charity, so keep an eye out for Camp Wyandot on the bottom of your receipts and if it disappears, sign up again.
Amazon Smiles

It is available at smile.amazon.com on your web browser and can be activated in the Amazon Shopping app for IOS and Android phones. When you shop with Amazon Smiles, you will find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shipping experience with the added benefit that Amazon will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charity of your choice.
That works out to $5 per $1000.00 spent, but there is a lot of shopping going on out there. Please sign up and ask your family and friends to sign up too.
