On October 17th, over 90 youth, parents, guardians, and volunteers spent the day at Camp Wyandot for our annual Halloween in the Hills celebration! The day started with games, crafts, and other Halloween themed activities in the Dining Hall followed by Hiking, Archery, Nature, and Candle Making. After a Halloween dinner in the Dining Hall, everyone got into costume and went trick-or-treating down Cabin Row. There was a Haunted House, S’mores, Cabin & Costume Awards, and Songs to finish out the evening. Most people headed home after the activities came to an end, but a few brave families stayed overnight, despite the 30 degree temperatures!
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who made this event a success! Thank you to Mr. Forte for being an incredible and energetic host for the weekend! A special thank you to Lisa Graham and her Wyandot Explorer club for putting together and running the games, some of the activities and crafts, and the Haunted House. They did a wonderful job!
We look forward to seeing you all again next year! Happy Halloween!
