August 28, 2015Spend Labor Day at Wyandot!
August 28, 2015Our annual Alumni Weekend was held August 14-16, 2015 down at Camp Wyandot. We saw many new faces as well as all the wonderful people who have been coming for years! The weather was beautiful and a good time was had by all!
We enjoyed singing after every meal, just like at overnight camp! All of the cabin groups made their own boat and selected a song for our Saturday evening Venetian Sing. Reflection was held Sunday morning where we shared our favorite place at Wyandot and heard a story about Lake Atagahi and another one about how the Chipmunk got its stripes!
Saturday afternoon we held a special tree planting ceremony in honor of Jeanene “Jed” Dixon, who passed away earlier this year. Miss Jed has done so much for our precious Wyandot and now there is an apple tree planted in our growing “orchard” to honor her memory!
