Camp Fire received at GO! grant from Franklin County to serve low income kids at Camp Otonwe at Highbanks this summer. The children will attend Camp Otonwe Day Camp for 8 week and Wyandot for one week. We will be able to serve 30 children with this grant this summer.
We will be serving the children from the Gladden Community House at Wyandot again this summer thanks to the generous support of the Columbus Youth Foundation. Thirty children in grades 3 – 10 will attend Wyandot and the K- 2 graders came to Wyandot for a day of tree and track identification and canoeing. Thanks to Clear Creek metro park ranger Marty Schull for sharing his knowledge of trees and tracks with the children. It was a great day at Wyandot. We are looking forward to their teens coming down and running Halloween In The Hills this fall.
