In the Nov. 13 edition of the Columbus Dispatch, we had very positive and thorough coverage of the partnership between the Cline Family, Arc of Appalachia and Camp Wyandot that resulted in the preservation of some of our most special hiking destinations and the creation of a buffer from development to our south. (Camp is also partially protected by boundaries with Clear Creek Metro Park to our northeast and northwest.)

Camp Wyandot Executive Director Connie Coutellier, former board chair Nikki Spretnak and Kris Cline Strawser, daughter of Helen and Jack Cline, prior owners of the farm, met with a Dispatch reporter Ceili Doyle  and a photographer Josh Bickel.  Kris took them by UTV for as far as they could and then they hiked to  Salt Peter and Pepper Peter. Here’s the article. This photo shows Ceili and Josh riding on the back of Kris Stawser’s UTV as she drives and Connie Coutellier rides in the passenger seat.

Asked how they were doing, the Dispatch staff said, “It’s like a roller coaster ride!”
