March 13, 2014Financial Assistance to Attend Summer Camp
Camp Wyandot, Inc. is now accepting applications for Connect Kids to Camp 2014 to provide camperships/financial assistance to benefit low income youth, entering grades 1-12, who are unable to afford to attend camp on their own and would never have this chance to be immersed in a natural environment learning outdoor skills while sharing the experience with their peers.
Connect Kids to Camp is available for both Wyandot Day Camp (Grades 1-10) located at Highbanks Metro Park in Lewis Center, OH and Wyandot Overnight Camp (Grades 2-12) located in Hocking Hills in Rockbridge, OH for those who meet financial assistance guidelines.
By being in a nurturing environment with their peers in our camp programs, youth can receive positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support that recognize their ability to succeed in school, life, and their future.
By offering camperships/financial assistance, Camp Wyandot, Inc. can reach the youth that can truly benefit from the opportunity and continue to create an inclusive and diverse camp community.

The deadline for applications is April 15, 2014. Both the Campership Application form and the Registration Form for either day or overnight camp must be completed and submitted along with all required documentation.
