Sharyn Lynn (Chrystal) Vogel, camp name “Sho-Tu”, passed away peacefully, but too soon, from COVID-19 and Alzheimer’s Disease on April 9, 2020 in Aurora (CO), only 5 days before her 75th birthday. She was a Camp Fire Girl and spent summers as a counselor at Camp Wyandot. Sharyn graduated from Riverside White Cross School of Nursing in 1966. She is survived by her husband, Robert, daughter Elizabeth, and three grandchildren. “Sho” was the warmest of friends, the most dedicated of caregivers, and the most loving spouse, mother, sister, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association Research Fund (https://www.alz.org/get-involved-now/advocate/research-funding). Arrangements are to be determined.
