Wyandot has lost a dear friend.
Jenny Morgan writes, “We have lost a Wyandot sister–Sassafras. Amy Cornell LOVED Camp Wyandot with all of her heart. She was a CIT in the late 70s. She recently attended the Wyandot luncheon even though she was battling a long term illness. She earned the highest achievement in Camp Fire, the WoHeLo Medallion. She was the funniest person I think I’ve ever met, save for maybe her sister Betsy. Her song I believe was Woodsmoke. Please keep her family in your thoughts. WoHeLo Sassafras. Wyandot Love Forever!”

Amy and I started in bluebirds together and went all the way to the WoHeLo medallion. She was fun, loud, crazy, and up for anything, and I will miss my life long friend, and Wyandot sister. We went through CIT training together and spent many fun times in the same CFG group, since the second grade. She will be missed.
