June 5, 2014Join us as we prepare camp for the summer camp season. Bring your family and friends for a nice weekend in the Hocking Hills and help us to preserve and sustain the beauty of Camp Wyandot!
There is no cost to attend but you will be working. You have the option to arrive Friday and stay until Sunday, come Saturday just for the day, or stay over Saturday night.
Agenda:
Friday, June 6 – evening, snack provided and mingle with other volunteers
Saturday, June 7 – morning, breakfast served
Work day begins around 9:30 am after breakfast and concludes at 6:00 pm, lunch will be provided. Saturday evening, dinner served
Sunday, June 8 – morning, breakfast served
The main job will be cleaning all the cabins, units, and shower houses, and minor repairs for upcoming staff training and campers this summer. In addition, we will be raking and clearing trails, stacking firewood, and fire rings to clean. As this is a “work weekend,” children should be able to participate with the work projects as well and should be 10 years old or older to attend.
